October 28, 2002 - Site search introduced: The site is now indexed by Roxen Search, which means you should be able to find mostly anything available on the site without knowing where to look for it. As for the search widget itself, we would gladly appreciate your help getting it to look good too. :-]

August 1, 2002 - ftp://pike.ida.liu.se/ set up: The official Pike FTP site just moved from ftp.roxen.com to pike.ida.liu.se, complete with all old versions and ancestors of Pike. We have also made the occasional update of the contents, for good measure.

July 26, 2002 - Pike Site project page added: as an aid for all our site editors on what conventions are used, how things work here in general and similar topics. This also proved an ideal place to show our goals with the site and rally users interested in joining us, as a bonus. :)

July 25, 2002 - Conference Registration Form added: If you intend to visit the 2002 Pike Conference, you may now register on the site. For those of you who prefer registering by mail, please contact directly instead.

July 14, 2002 - Project Assimilation initiated: In the interest of spreading Pike, giving credit to those who help that cause by providing Pike support for various tools, applications or environments and to point current Pike users to these, we booted a project to coordinate the work and link the world. With time, the world will probably link back.

July 11, 2002 - Site cache work-through: Martin Stjernholm has helped us out with a site template cache review, finding out cache dependencies and the like. Hopefully your cvs browsing experience will be a lot smoother (diff popups already are) in the future. You might encounter the occasional overcache bug for some time still, but we will be working on fixing any problems we find or are made aware of.

July 7, 2002 - New hosted application: Code Librarian: The CVS Browser running on this server just got a homepage here (and, while at it, a project page on Freshmeat to alert the world :-). Updates and news on this application will end up here in the future.

July 3, 2002 - Nicer 404 page: Okay, we admit it; this isn't much as news go, but for those of you who type URLs wrong, the page you end up on isn't as strikingly ugly now as it used to be.

June 28, 2002 - New About section added: The stuff formerly in the about section was moved down a level to About > Pike and a somewhat more catchy run-down on what Pike is was put there instead. This also left us some room for other things planned for this part of the site in the future.

June 20, 2002 - pike.ida.liu.se site official: The new site we have been working on for a few months is finally officially opened for common visitors. Be sure to update your old pike.roxen.com bookmarks.
